Winter SPECIAL ♥ ♥ PART 2 “The Pots”

Hello everyoneJ. Today is winter special PART 2!!!!!! Yesterday I introduced small hot pot that you don’t have to share with others, but today I am going to introduce another hot pot restaurant. This restaurant is called “The Pot’s”, and it is a Hong Kong style hot pot. Different with the previous one, this time you have to share the pot in the seat of 4 people!! The better thing is that you get to choose base soup from the menu. The restaurant provides many flavors of soups and they are all good to try. However, I recommend to try the spicy soup because it is very difficult to see there are other stores selling the spicy soup too. The restaurant only provides ALL YOU CAN EAT menu starting at $23. They have a very long list of food, vegetables, meat, and pork organs. For Asians who miss the food from the hometown, this is the place to order all the things you miss.
This is one of my favorite hot pot restaurants beside the shabu-shabu. This is a traditional Hong Kong style called “Da Bin Lo”. I love to come here because they have best pork intestine and Bean curd sheet. Now let me post some pictures about the food.

            Spicy and Pork soup

Today, we order the spicy and pork soup. As you can see there are many peppers in the soup to make it become very red. Warning, the spicy pot is very SPICY, so every time we need to take out all the peppers and put them aside. This spicy soup is the soup for cooking food like pork intestine and meat, because they will have the good smell of the spicy. I do not recommend to cook any vegetable in this pot, because the vegetable will absorb all the spicy oil in the soup which is very unhealthy. The other one is pork soup. Pork soup is thicker and it is made from soup-stock. The soup is suitable for cooking all kinds of vegetables, mushrooms, or seafood. At the end, the soup will also contain the flavor of vegetables and seafood, which is very delicious to drink some.^^

            Sauce

They only have one sauce which is black vinegar plus say sauce. It does not taste good when you try it, but if you put meat that is cooked from the spicy pot into the sauce, the red oil will come off from your meat. This sauce helps take out some of the red oil, so you will feel too hot in your mouth. The sauce is designed for people who love to eat spicy but afraid of it.

            Vegetables and Meat

When we finish ordering all the food we want, the waiter will bring an extra table to you. They will put all the food on this extra table. You can see from the picture!!!! It is a good way to put all the food on another table, so it will not make out table to become too messy. We order a lot on that day, but the picture only shows lamb, spinach, and fish filet. The fish filet is great after you cook it. It tastes good and soft enough but not too soft. I also recommend pork intestine and put them in the spicy pot. For people who are afraid to try pork intestine, don’t worry, the spicy hot pot will cover up the taste of pork intestine. The shrimp paste is also very good; it will make your mouth full of shrimp.

            Beef

See!!!!!!!!!!!! How thin the beef is~~~~~ The pattern of fat is very even and not too much. Just pick up one and state it in the pot for few seconds and then eat it. Can say anymore, I will become hungry again just to imagine the picture. The beef also tastes good with medium heat. I can always finish up so many plates of beef. Recommend beef lovers to come and try.
The Pots is definitely a good place for hot pot with group of friends!!  I always go there when I feel like having a hot pot as dinner and I always bring a lot of friends to there. The restaurants is big that contain many people and it is not difficult to find parking spaces. Don’t wait, come and try the best Hong Kong style hot pot soon.
