Thai Spice!

Sawat dee Kah! This is writer Grace, here to tell you another restaurant I discovered. What kind of restaurant am I going to write? Well, based on the greeting, I’m going write about a Thai restaurant called “Thai Spice”. Ooh spices... doesn't that sound exciting?

I've only been to this place once and I must say, it’s very expensive but the food is so good! I enjoyed some of their authentic Thai foods. Here's what I tried:

Red Curry with Prawns

This dish is made of red curry paste with coconut milk, with potatoes and choice of meat/ seafood. I’m a huge fan of curry, but I never tried it with seafood before. I just eat it mostly with chicken when I order curry. My aunt ordered this when I went with her. It tasted okay for me, because it tasted weird when I eat anything seafood with curry, but my aunt liked it. If you like seafood and curry together, then you should try this.

Cashew Nuts with Beef

This dish has beef, cashew nuts, tomatoes, bell peppers, and basil. It was very spicy and delicious. I liked how the sauce was marinated in the beef and then cooked with the tomatoes and cashew nuts. The basil adds up a refreshing flavor to the dish. However, it has very little amount so I was kinda pissed I ordered this. Not worth to try this dish.

Overall, this place has very delicious authentic Thai foods. I like Thai foods a lot so I've been looking for some good Thai restaurants everywhere in the Bay Area. Thai Spice is one of the places I tried and enjoyed even though I've only been there once. There are so many dishes to try. Also, inside of the restaurant hass very nice interior, and gives you a peaceful and quiet feeling when going in. I like going to restaurants where there's not much noise and noise level are kept to minimum, unlike other restaurants where people talk hella loud.
