Koi Palace

I've been thinking which dim sum restaurant I shall introduce since there are so many dim sum restaurant around Bay Area. I've also compared Koi Palace with those restaurant and finally decide I will write about this place. When speaking of price, Koi Palace may be expensive,  but the food there really worth the price.

I usually go there on weekdays since there would be a huge crowd on weekends. It's a nice place near mall which you can hang out with your families and friends.

Xiao Long Bao- This is my Favorite.  They come in nice little individual tin foil cups, so that you can catch the soup that spills out! The meat is tender and the soup is very tasty.

I also love "Shrimp Noodle Roll", it comes with some sort of soy sauce which is not too salty but really delicious.
Not a big fan of dim sum? Not a big problem. They also have a lot of other delicious dishes you can have. Like the "Duck and Tofu Clay Pot". I like duck so I like this dish. Even if you don't like duck before, I'm sure you will like this.

- BBQ Meat Combo - the BBQ pork and duck were good
- Seafood Fish Maw Soup - A-Okay
- Stir-fried with Veggies and Diced Chicken - A-Okay
- Honey Glazed Walnut Prawns - SURPRISINGLY GOOD COMBINATION!!!
- Pan Fried Pork Chops in Maggi Sauce - Quite good
- * mystery dish * I didn't like the look of it so didn't try it.
- Steamed Fresh Catch of the Day - I don't recall what kind of fish it was, but it TASTED SURPRISINGLY BAD. Strong fishy smell which indicates fish is not fresh...and judging by the dead red fish in the tank up front, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it was.
- Seasonal Fruit Platter - instead we got a sweet, warm soupy like dessert with a warm rice ball with black sesame seed filling which wasn't bad.

Come and try today, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
